1st CRASA HRDC and FRAC Meetings 2026/27
CRASA Members and their representatives are invited to participate in the first meetings of the CRASA Human Resources Development Committee (HRDC) and Finance, Risk and Audit Committee (FRAC) for the 2026/27 financial year.
The meetings will be hosted by the Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) in Maseru, Lesotho. The primary objective is to commence the implementation of the Committees’ Workplans for 2026/27, as approved by the 15th Annual General Meeting.
Human Resources Development Committee projects:
- Recruitment and selection of an Accounts Officer;
- Development of the CRASA workforce plan;
- Training and development of CRASA Secretariat staff;
- HRDC capacity building for 2026/27;
- Alignment of CRASA policies with Botswana’s new Employment and Labour Relations Act;
- Women in ICT Leadership in Southern Africa Awards; and
- Oversight of performance management and performance rewards implementation.
Finance, Risk and Audit Committee projects:
- Oversight of internal and external audit processes;
- Benchmark study on the staff-to-operational cost ratio for Members;
- Oversight of the implementation of the 15th AGM resolutions;
- Oversight of the implementation of the CRASA Operational Plan;
- Oversight of the Revenue Generation Strategy;
- Oversight of the CRASA Risk Management Framework;
- CRASA performance reporting and budgeting; and
- Review of internal financial policies.
A joint excursion will be organised on Wednesday, 19th August 2026, for both HRDC and FRAC delegates. The excursion will provide delegates with an opportunity to experience the Kingdom of Lesotho and promote networking among Committee members.
