More Information About CRASA Events
CRASA organises meetings, conferences, workshops, and other events either by itself or in collaboration with our members and partners. These include:
The Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The AGM is the supreme decision-making body of CRASA, which meets once a year to receive and approve reports of the Specialised Committees, Annual Operational Plans (AOPs), the CRASA Annual Report, Audited Accounts as well as the Annual Budget of the Association. The AGM is also a platform member to share their experiences through presentations, discussions, and various thematic reports on topics of mutual interest.
Specialised Committee Meetings
CRASA typically executes its mandate of fostering regional regulatory harmonisation in the SADC Communications Sector through Specialised Committees of regulatory experts from its 14 Members. The specialised Committees meet at least twice a year to advance their work.
Capacity-building Events
CRASA also organises need-responsive capacity building events such as workshops, seminars, webinars, and conferences focusing on specific themes requested by our members and partners. Full details of all such events, including registration and sponsorship opportunities are available on here on the CRASA EMP.
CRASA further supports events organised by our members and partners, contributing for example through expert participation of members of the Secretariat and jointly promoting such events among our membership.
