1st Meeting of the CRASA Legal and Policy Committee (2025/26)

The 1st Meeting of the CRASA Legal and Policy Committee (2025/26) will be held from 13th to 15th October 2025 at the CRASA Secretariat in Gaborone, Botswana, focusing on advancing the LPC Workplan 2025/26 through the development of Regional Data Governance and SADC Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Frameworks.

Purpose: To advance implementation of the LPC Workplan for FY 2025/26 and support SADC Directives 3.2.14(ii) and 7.3.7(ii).

Key Focus Areas:

• Development of a Regional Data Governance and Protection Framework
• Development of a SADC Critical Information Infrastructure Protection (CIIP) Legal Framework
