CRASA Members are invited to participate in the 1st Ordinary Meeting of the CRASA Legal and Policy Committee (LPC) for the 2026/27 financial year, hosted by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA).
The meeting will advance the implementation of the LPC Workplan 2026/27, taking into account the outcomes of the 2026 SADC Ministerial Round Table Dialogue and the relevant decisions of the SADC ICT Ministers Meeting held in Bulawayo in June 2026.
The Committee will consider priority activities relating to artificial intelligence governance, regional data governance and protection, Digital Public Infrastructure, the enforceability and domestication of CRASA Model Regulatory Instruments, and the Draft CRASA Policy Review Register.
