SUMMARY:1st CRASA HRDC and FRAC Meetings 2026/27
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text] \n1st CRASA HRDC and FRAC Meetings 2026/27\nCRASA Members and their representatives are invited to participate in the first meetings of the CRASA Human Resources Development Committee (HRDC) and Finance\, Risk and Audit Committee (FRAC) for the 2026/27 financial year. \nThe meetings will be hosted by the Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) in Maseru\, Lesotho. The primary objective is to commence the implementation of the Committees’ Workplans for 2026/27\, as approved by the 15th Annual General Meeting. \nHuman Resources Development Committee projects: \n\nRecruitment and selection of an Accounts Officer;\nDevelopment of the CRASA workforce plan;\nTraining and development of CRASA Secretariat staff;\nHRDC capacity building for 2026/27;\nAlignment of CRASA policies with Botswana’s new Employment and Labour Relations Act;\nWomen in ICT Leadership in Southern Africa Awards; and\nOversight of performance management and performance rewards implementation.\n\nFinance\, Risk and Audit Committee projects: \n\nOversight of internal and external audit processes;\nBenchmark study on the staff-to-operational cost ratio for Members;\nOversight of the implementation of the 15th AGM resolutions;\nOversight of the implementation of the CRASA Operational Plan;\nOversight of the Revenue Generation Strategy;\nOversight of the CRASA Risk Management Framework;\nCRASA performance reporting and budgeting; and\nReview of internal financial policies.\n\nA joint excursion will be organised on Wednesday\, 19th August 2026\, for both HRDC and FRAC delegates.
